Parcel Sorter / Warehouse Operative / Line Operative

We are currently recruiting for Parcel Sorters / Warehouse Operatives / Production Operatives / Line Operatives / Pickers and Packers to join a busy distribution centre based in Aylesford, near Maidstone, Kent, working for a large, international and prestigious company.

Parcel Sorter Job Details:

•    Job Title: Parcel Sorter Operative 

•    Location: Aylesford near Maidstone, Kent

•    Shift Pattern: Monday to Sunday (flexible working available)

•    Shift Times: Evening shifts such as 16:00 – 20:00

•    Pay Rate: From £13.02 per hour (PAYE via Pertemps) – enhanced pay rate for weekends and Bank Holidays 

•    Contract: ongoing agency temp 

Parcel Sorter Key Responsibilities: 

•    Sorting parcels and packages within a fast-paced warehouse environment

•    Loading and unloading goods

•    Working on parcel sorting lines and production lines

•    General warehouse and logistics duties

Parcel Sorter Requirements: 

•    Must be physically fit due to the nature of the role

•    Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

•    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

•    Previous experience in warehouse, production, logistics, picking and packing, or line work is advantageous but not essential

•    Due to client requirements and safety checks, all applicants must be able to provide 5 years’ work history and be willing to undergo a Basic DBS check
