CONTENTIOUS PROBATE SOLICITOR/ILEX:
An established and highly respected law firm is seeking a talented Contentious Probate Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its expanding Litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious lawyer to build their career within a supportive and collaborative environment, handling a broad range of contentious probate and private client disputes. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload of contentious probate matters while also working closely with experienced practitioners on complex and high-value cases. The role offers genuine opportunities for progression, exposure to challenging work, and the chance to play a key role in the continued growth of the team. You will be responsible for advising clients on a variety of contentious probate and private client litigation matters, from initial instruction through to resolution. This will include conducting legal research and investigations, advising on complex and sensitive disputes, preparing pleadings and court documentation, and representing clients at hearings, mediations and conferences. You will also work collaboratively with counsel, experts and other professionals, whilst supporting and mentoring junior members of the team where appropriate. Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors and Legal Executives with strong experience in contentious probate litigation. Whilst the firm envisages candidates with at least three years' PQE, applications from those with more or less experience who can demonstrate the necessary expertise are encouraged. A solid understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules, excellent client care skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively are essential. The ideal candidate will be proactive, commercially aware, highly organised, and confident in handling sensitive matters involving vulnerable clients. In return, the firm offers a competitive salary dependent on experience, a performance-related bonus scheme, an additional holiday incentive scheme, 26 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, pension contributions, a healthcare plan, and genuine opportunities for long-term career development within a highly regarded litigation practice.

To apply, contact Steph at eNL on 020 7183 8586 or email stephanie.murchington@enllegal.co.uk with your CV, or simply call for a confidential discussion.

eNL will never share your CV with a third party without your express permission. As part of our candidate care process, we aim to respond to all applications in 7 days. If you have not been contacted within this timescale, your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion. Please note our advertisements use PQE/salary levels purely as a guide.
